Hear Sam Weller, the official biographer of pioneering science fiction author and literary icon Ray Bradbury, paint a vivid and intimate picture of Bradbury and his work, sharing behind-the-scenes stories and illuminating the uncanny significance of “Fahrenheit 451” today.

Weller’s “The Bradbury Chronicles: The Life of Ray Bradbury” was a Los Angeles Times best seller, winner of the 2005 Society of Midland Authors Award for Best Biography, and a Bram Stoker Award finalist. Weller also published a companion volume, “Listen to the Echoes: The Ray Bradbury Interviews.”
Weller's third Bradbury book will be published this year. Titled “Shadow Show: All-New Stories in Honor of Ray Bradbury,” the anthology will include stories by authors including Neil Gaiman, Margaret Atwood, Dave Eggers, and Alice Hoffmann. He is a professor in the Fiction Writing Department at Columbia College Chicago and a widely-published critic, essayist, and short story writer.
