MECCA is a 501(c)(3)non-profit organization dedicated to diverting scrap materials from the waste stream and into the creative endeavors of our community. MECCA provides access to low-cost arts programming in an inclusive environment that enhances the cultural life of Lane County.

MECCA is one of the best places to volunteer in Eugene if you love arts and crafts. They pay you 8 MECCA bucks that you can use at their store every hour you volunteer with them. You can earn up to $25 a month for only three hours of service. They treat their volunteers well and there's always a variety of jobs to do around the store. It's also a great place to network with other artists in the area.
