Built in 1925, The McDonald Theatre is truly a one-of-a-kind venue, combining history, community involvement and the arts. Bringing vitality and positive energy to the core downtown area, the McDonald is a platform for a diverse spectrum of events.
While The McDonald Theatre is mainly known for its varied performances, from stand-up comedy to film festivals and concerts from mainstream alternative rock to folk, the theatre also hosts private events of all sorts. Events in the past have included weddings, high school proms, lectures, and local children's theater performances. Non-profit organizations are also encouraged to produce their various fundraising events, lectures, and presentations at the theatre, which allows us to generously give back to the community.
