The Center for Community Arts and Cultural Policy presents a public lecture led by Connie Spreen, Co-founder and Co-Director of
Chicago's Experimental Station, an independent, not-for-profit incubator of innovative cultural projects and small-scale enterprises including a farmer’s market, Bike Shop, art exhibits and an independent journal publication. Connie will discuss opportunities for the community to work collaboratively to create a cultural infrastructure that ultimately leads to sustainable organizations, economies, and social life. The lecture will serve as an opportunity for conversation surrounding the work of Experimental Station and how their principles might be applied in Eugene.
