Discovered in 1953, pizza is the only food to have been eaten on the moon, blessed by a pope, and endorsed by Olympic marathoner Gezahegne Abera—the "triple crown" of food honors. Eugene’s downtown Cozmic Pizza is located in The Strand (the vintage 1945 building – once an Edsel car dealership) on the corner of 8th & Charnelton, two blocks from the library and bus station.
The owner, Kirk Giudici, also founded Rising Moon Organics (www.risingmoon.com) and is now living out his restaurant dream to create fabulous organic plateaus of food-tromps for you.

Forget wimpy pizza
Cozmic serves Jersey-Eugene-style fusion pies that start with Willamette Valley wheat crusts baked on 600° stones. We brush our crusts with buttery extra-virgin olive oil and heap traditional cheeses, tomato sauce, and whatever organic toppings you can think of. We offer wheat-free pies too!
Cozmic Pizza is excellent sustenance for grade-school sleepovers, company gatherings, or coming home a hero to feed the family. Spares you the mortifying disgrace of carrying a cold, frozen grocery pizza into your abode…many have been tickled with our hot, perfectly prepared pies.
Pizzas come in Small (8”), Medium (12”), and Large (16”). The menu features several specialty pies, including our signature Odyssus - A rich Mediterranean combination of spinach, feta, and artichoke hearts served on a bed of mozzarella transported on a crust of your choice ($15.50 / $24.50). Or our Bella Stella - Our virgin oil basted crust, layered with our margarita sauce and mozzarella then topped with high quality pepperoni and sausage then garnished with smoked gouda ($16.50 / $25.50). Everybody loves Cozmic’s pies, but…
Also consider a HUGE salad like the Mista - Organic spinach with apples and red onion, a delightful Gorgonzola dressing and garnished with walnuts ($8.75).
Lunch starts at 11am. We offer quick slices, our Farmer’s Market Specials, and enormous organic salads served in a stainless bowl. Come by for Hoppy Hour (4 – 6pm everyday) to taste some of Oregon’s microbrews or our homemade fountain sodas!
Recently, Cozmic has remodeled and upgraded equipment to meet the demand of its pizza lovers. Have a Eugene microbrew or local wine during one of our many events like Family Night Open-Mic, Science Pub, or performances like 8-time Grammy-Award winner Marcia Ball.
